These earrings were inspired by the 'Dormilona De Agua' sensitive plant native to our desert landscape. The plants leaves close at nighttime or when lightly touched. My nana used to have this plant in her yard and I remember being in awe when the evening came because the leaves would close. The colors are teal mirror and gold mirror.
Handmade earrings out of acrylic with double reinforced surgical steel posts. This guarantees the post will never come off.
Acrylic is a light weight and durable material, however it must be treated with care.

Avoid using chemicals, solvents, perfume, jewelry cleaners, or hairspray near the earrings. In the case that it becomes dirty, wipe with a soft, microfiber towel. When not in use, store jewelry in a box or a separate compartment. Keep away from sharp objects to avoid scratching the surface. This will help with the preservation of each handmade piece.
The earrings are carefully packaged in a cotton-filled box and mailed in a bubble wrap envelope. For two pairs or more, they are packaged in an indestructible box with tissue paper.
