These earrings are inspired by the Otomi Indigenous people found in central Mexico. Their Tenango Textiles feature many floral and fauna of their region--this beautiful bird being one. Birds for me have come to represent transcendence. They are said to be reincarnations of the most pious and highly respected individuals. They also represent freedom and liberation for humans as they can take flight high up to the heavens.

Avoid using chemicals, solvents, perfume, jewelry cleaners, or hairspray near the earrings. In the case that it becomes dirty, wipe with a soft, microfiber towel. When not in use, store jewelry in a box or a separate compartment. Keep away from sharp objects to avoid scratching the surface. This will help with the preservation of each handmade piece.
The earrings are carefully packaged in a cotton-filled box and mailed in a bubble wrap envelope. For two pairs or more, they are packaged in an indestructible box with tissue paper.
